Membership Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Of the Void Martial Arts. By enrolling in any of our membership plans, including those with a free trial, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. These terms apply to all participants in our martial arts programs, whether registering online, in person, or through the Buckner Family YMCA.

 

1. Membership Eligibility

• Membership is open to individuals ages 6 and up unless otherwise stated for specific programs.

• All members must complete a waiver and agree to abide by dojo rules and etiquette.

2. Free Trial Policy

• A 14-day free trial is available only to new students and may be used once per individual.

• Trial membership includes access to beginner-level group classes unless otherwise specified.

• Any attempt to use a second trial under a different name, email, or method may result in immediate cancellation of participation.

3. Membership Billing & Auto-Renewal

• Memberships are billed on a monthly recurring basis.

• Memberships auto-renew on the same day each month unless canceled at least 3 days before the next billing date.

• You will receive an email confirmation after each successful payment.

4. Cancellation Policy

• Members may cancel their membership at any time.

• To avoid the next charge, notice of cancellation must be received at least 3 calendar days before the next scheduled billing date.

• Cancellations can be submitted via our website’s contact form or by email.

• No refunds will be provided for payments already processed.

5. Membership Pause Option

• Members may request to pause their membership due to illness, travel, or other approved reasons.

• Pause requests must be submitted in advance and are subject to approval.

• During the paused period, billing will be suspended and access to classes will be placed on hold.

• The minimum pause period is 1 week; the maximum is 2 months per calendar year.

6. Refund Policy

• All membership fees are non-refundable, including but not limited to missed classes, late cancellations, or unused time.

7. Class Access and Conduct

• Members are expected to treat instructors and fellow students with respect at all times.

• Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in suspension or termination of membership.

• Appropriate attire and punctuality are expected.

8. Payment Methods

• We accept most major credit and debit cards.

• Payments are processed securely through our online platform.

9. Liability and Waiver

• All members must sign a waiver before participating in any classes.

• Of the Void Martial Arts and its instructors are not liable for injuries sustained during participation.

• Members are responsible for informing instructors of any relevant medical conditions.

10. Changes to Terms

• These Terms and Conditions are subject to change. Members will be notified via email or website updates when changes are made.
